Level 3:16 Album Review
Jan 15

Level 3:16 is a new group on Impact Records/Cross Movement Records. Think of Arrested Development with 2011 lyricism. The group is made up of 3 singers a d.j and two emcees. I will say this, they are pretty good. The emcees got a nice flow and the singers sound wonderfully but…..
The album is okay, not good but okay. I didn’t feel that I wasted my money but if I could do it over I would purchase the 4 songs I like. The number one reason is that the production is sort of all over the place and some of the songs sound a little cheesy at spots and this could possibly be attributed to the fact that they are attempting to highlight all of the artists talents plus they have a diverse group to appeal to being they are part of Impact.
The four songs I like are: Crazy, Know Him, The Return (wonderful) and Level. Actually 5 songs I would add I Remember. The album has 12 songs and that’s less than half. There are about two songs that I have a hard time listening to. Overall decent freshman project. I think as they find their niche and work on their strengths they could be very special. I think they have a sound that will keep them relevant, just need some refinement.

Loved the song they did called “Crazy”
